What this means
Ownership on Calculator Tools means the app is saved to a user account. That account can open the app later, remix it, edit files, and share the link. An AI assistant that created the files is a tool. It is not the owner.
Why it matters
Chat previews often belong to the chat product. If you leave the thread, you may lose a clean URL. On Calculator Tools, the URL is on your account even if you created it from Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
How it works here
Sign in with Google. Publish from Create, a custom GPT, or MCP. The app appears on the dashboard. Other people can open the public URL. They do not get your account.
Remix puts a copy on your account. The original stays with the previous owner.
